At One Call Building Services we like to support a worthwhile course each year. This year we have chosen to support the Blind Veterans during 2023. This year is especially challenging during these very difficult times.

Sight loss can take so much from our veterans
Blind Veterans UK are here to support anyone who has served in the Armed Forces, or who has done National Service, and who is now living with significant sight loss.
We help blind ex-Service men and women lead independent and fulfilling lives by supporting them with our in-depth expertise, experience and full range of services.
We give veterans much-needed support to adjust to sight loss, overcome the challenges of blindness and enjoy daily life. Our charity has been offering physical and emotional support to vision-impaired veterans since 1915.
Rehabilitation and training
We have two centres in England and Wales; on the South Coast and in North Wales. Each centre is a place for recreation, training and rehabilitation for blind veterans and their families. Many people who have recently lost their vision don't realise that there are simple skills and strategies that will allow them to live more independently. We teach blind veterans these skills, giving them plenty of encouragement and reassurance.
